Below are some sample images of the most common types of barcodes which we supply. Bear in mind that this is just to give you an idea of how we usually supply them and that image size is completely customisable for individual purposes.
EAN-13 Barcode
EAN-13 barcodes are the most common type of retail barcode used in Singapore and worldwide. They can be used on any retail product except books/magazines. A different EAN-13 barcode is needed for each product and product variation (e.g. a different EAN-13 barcode number is needed for each different colour and size of a product).
ITF-14 Carton Code
ITF-14 Carton Codes are used on shipping cartons. When an ITF-14 Carton Code is scanned it gives information about which product is in the box & how many units of that product are in the box (it is based on the product’s EAN-13 barcode number). It is used for warehousing and stock keeping purposes.
ISBN Book Barcode
ISBN Barcodes use a 13 digit ISBN Number (which are globally unique numbers assigned to books) and use the EAN-13 barcode symbology to turn it into a barcode image.
QR Code
QR Codes are 2D barcodes commonly used to direct users to a particular website or webpage. They can also be used to provide other information (e.g. they can be scanned to provide an address, or businsess card contact information, or event information). They contain barcode data along both the x axis and y axis. Compared to other barcodes, QR codes can be made very small yet still contain a lot of information.
